Each year the School of Computer Science holds an annual Cheriton Symposium.
This year's symposium will consist of talks by David Cheriton and Faculty Fellowship recipients (Shai Ben-David, Raouf Boutaba, Frank Tompa, and Johnny Wong) from 1 - 4 p.m. in DC (William G. Davis Computer Research Centre) 1302.
Posters and demos by Cheriton Graduate Student Scholarship recipients will be on display in the Great Hall, Davis Centre starting at 11 a.m.
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
