CS Grad Covid-19 Updates:

Travel Advice - Upon arrival in Canada

Based on the current Government of Canada policies, it is compulsory for incoming students and visitors to quarantine for 14 days immediately after entry into Canada. This is mandatory, even if you have no symptoms. Students travelling to campus need to self-isolate prior to coming to campus/moving into residence. Students cannot self-isolate in the University residences.

As a result, St. Paul’s University College is offering short-term self-quarantine accommodations at affordable prices for international students coming to the University of Waterloo campus, for the Fall 2020 term. The rooms include:

  • 1 double bed
  • 1 desk
  • Ensuite private washroom
  • Mini fridge
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Linens and towels
  • Free parking
  • Care package

To book your stay, fill out the form. Rooms and rates are available from August 10 until September 1, 2020.

The University of Waterloo has also arranged with some local hotels to offer student discounts to our incoming students in need of a place to quarantine. Students are encouraged to reach out directly to inquire about accommodation and pricing as prices may differ. Please find below a list of options and resources to choose from:
