Fees listed below are for the Winter 2017 term only. Incidental fees are subject to change pending Board of Governors' approval.

  • University of Waterloo calculates tuition one term at a time.

  • Fees are listed for one term (one term = 4 months of study)

  • Costs are normally subject to change on an annual basis by the University of Waterloo.

  • Students admitted to a Qualifying or Non-degree program pay fees at the per-course fee corresponding to their program.

Co-operative education costs

A fee in the amount of $709.00 per four-month work-term will be charged to students using the services of Co-operative Education and Centre for Career Action.

Living costs

The following costs reflect average current costs for a single person living in Waterloo, Canada. Living expense costs are based on a 4-month term.
