Researchers awarded best paper at ACM SoCC

David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science professors Ken SalemKhuzaima Daudjee, Ashraf Aboulnaga, PhD candidate Jaemyung Kim, and former MMath student Xin Pan, have been awarded best paper at the 2015 Association for Computing Machinery Symposium on Cloud Computing for their paper Database High Availability Using SHADOW Systems.

"The ACM Symposium on Cloud Computing 2015 is the sixth in an established series of symposia that bring together researchers, developers, users, and practitioners interested in cloud computing," explains the ACM SoCC website
