Florian Kerschbaum awarded 2022 Faculty of Mathematics Golden Jubilee Research Excellence Award

Professor Florian Kerschbaum has received a 2022 Faculty of Mathematics Golden Jubilee Research Excellence Award. The $2,500 prize, conferred to faculty members who have made outstanding research contributions, was established in 2017 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Mathematics.

Android’s permission model is used to regulate access to the Application Program Interfaces (APIs) within the Android system services, which provide access to sensitive system resources, such as the camera and microphone. To successfully invoke sensitive APIs, a caller must hold one or more Android permissions.
