David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science professor Raouf Boutaba, former PhD student Qi Zhang, and former post-doctoral fellow Mohamed Faten Zhani were awarded Best Paper at the IEEE/IFIP International Conference on Network and Service Management in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil last week.
Co-authored by visiting PhD candidate Ahmed Amokrane (University of Pierre and Marie Curie, France) and colleagues Rami Langar and Guy Pujolle (University of Pierre and Marie Curie, France), the research for the publication, On Satisfying Green SLAs in Distributed Clouds, was completed in Waterloo.
