Professor Raouf Boutaba named Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada

Head shot of Raouf BoutabaRaouf Boutaba, Professor at the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science, has been named a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC-ICI). Boutaba adds this fellowship to an impressive list of accolades having been named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) just over a year ago. 

Boutaba's research interests are focused primarily on the integrated management of networks, systems and services, and on resource management in wired and wireless networks. Applications areas of current interest include cloud computing, network virtualization, and future Internet architectures.
