MathSoc names Professor Terry Instructor of the Year

Students of mathematics at Waterloo recognized the Cheriton School's Associate Professor Michael Terry as "Instructor of the Year 2012."
Students describe him as an engaging and inspiring professor who has taught first to fourth year courses in computer science.  
 
Terry is known for making his classes creative and enjoyable. Terry also considers the marketability of the material being taught with the inclusion of assignments geared towards up-to-date real-world application of course content. Students appreciate "his teaching style and deep understanding of course material."
