Distinguished Professors Emeriti presented with Lifetime Achievement in Computer Science awards

Distinguished Professors Emerti Alan George and Frank Tompa have been presented with the Canadian Association for Computer Science (CACS/AIC) Lifetime Achievement in Computer Science Awards.  

The awards for Lifetime Achievement in Computer Science are made to faculty members in Canadian Computer Science departments/schools/faculties who have made outstanding and sustained contributions in research, teaching, or service to computing over their careers. 

The awards will be presented at the annual Computer Science Chairs meeting to be held at the University of Montreal, May 26-27, 2016.
