CS alumnus, founder of Lightbot appears on Forbes 30 under 30 list

Danny Yaroslavski, a graduate from the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science (2014) was named to the Forbes "30 under 30: Education" list, for his work in founding the company LightbotLightbot teaches children ages four and up how to code though gaming. 

"Lightbot is a puzzle game that uses game mechanics that are firmly rooted in programming concepts," The game lets players gain a practical understanding of basic control-flow concepts like procedures, loops, and conditionals, just by guiding a robot with commands to light up tiles and solve levels," explains the about section of Lightbot's Facebook page.

During his time at Waterloo, Yaroslavski was part of the Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology's Enterprise Co-op program and his company was a recipient of a $25,000 Velocity fund grant
