Computing Financial Management program recognized by CFA

The School of Accounting and Finance at the University of Waterloo is the second Canadian university to be recognized by the CFA Institute University Recognition Program. Specifically our AFM (Finance Specialization) and CFM (Computing and Financial Management) programs have been acknowledged as incorporating sufficient course content within the curriculum to meet the CFA Institute's standards in preparing students for the CFA program examinations. 

 

AFM and CFM students currently enjoy advanced preparation for the CFA designation exams but with this recognition, our students will be eligible for a number of CFA scholarships.
