Local ICPC-style programming contest
The contest will run from 1 p.m. sharp until 4 p.m., and will be followed by pizza. There will be a practice contest in the morning to allow contestants, especially those competing for the first time, to get their account setup and become familiar with the contest environment.
Contestants participating in the practice contest should arrive by 10:30 a.m. in MC 3003. For out-of-town participants, it is possible to participate remotely using a web-based system, but local participants are encouraged to attend in person if possible.
Waterloo’s proud history at the International Collegiate Programming Contest
Did you know that Waterloo students have twice won the worldwide International Collegiate Programming Contest, an annual multi-tiered programming competition among the universities of the world.
Most recently in 2018, our students swept the top four spots at the regional International Collegiate Programming Competition against 129 teams from schools that included Carnegie Mellon, the University of Michigan, and the University of Toronto!
Let’s do it again!
