Integration of UAVs in the airspace is a complex problem. Certain network architectures are needed for realizing such a reality. A topic studied under Internet of Drones. However, without a clear understanding of the traffic patterns created by UAV, this will be an impossible task.
In this presentation, we talk about a traffic flow model for UAV which can be used as a tool in understanding the formation of congestion and other aspects of interaction between drones and the airspace. These insights can inform designing architectures that are suitable for the task of UAV integration in the airspace.
