In my report, I will to give a brief overview of some topics that were discussed at the “Transforming STEM Higher Education” conference in Chicago. 

The topics that resonated with me the most were 1) Reflection; 2) Inequity; and 3) Improving mathematical teaching. I will give a brief presentation on each of them, which will be followed by a discussion. Also, I will tell you about an awesome course called “Frontiers of Science” at Columbia University.
