So the good folks at bzzrgardens.com posted a web ad for DJ Dancin' Dave (here it is). I guess technically this is my first web ad ever. For those of you who don't attend UBC, a BZZR Garden is how beer gardens are advertised at UBC to poke fun at the University's "no advertisements allowed for alcohol-based events" policy.

I used to love the trivia fact that Porky's was Canada's biggest box-office hit... but alas, it no longer holds the title -- which now goes to the movie Bon Cop, Bad Cop. I wouldn't be surprised if The Trailer Park Boys takes the title soon. And who knows... maybe the remake of Porky's will re-capture the title (but I doubt it will be Canadian feature). And I know, I know I know -- why bother to remake Porky's?

Woo Hoo! I just got back from River Rock Casino, where I finished 4th out of 165 in a $90 poker tournament -- winning just over $1000. I was pretty tired & hungry by the end -- I was playing for 7 hours. I really would like to do more tournaments but unfortunately my schedule doesn't allow for it -- I enter one about every three months or so.

I know that nobody in the world cares about this but me, but I thought I'd just share that my lits Saturn just flipped over 100,000 km. Me and that car have been through quite a bit together.
