I just had to comment on this web advertisement I saw at The Chicago Tribune of all places... apparently a Canadian Tourism site is using the BC Cancer Foundation's Uncover the Cure event as a tourism attraction -- because of course everyone in Vancouver jogs in their underwear all year long.

Well, I just hit 800 movies in my DVD Collection, and I try to make the milestone DVDs 'special' and this one certainly was... Double Indemnity -- an awesome movie from 1944 I've been dying to get in my collection as it was the only one of the IMDB 100 I was missing -- so I now have them all -- the rest of the IMDB 250 is a harder target because (a) it fluctuates so often and (b) there's a few unreleased and/or expensive movies in there.

If I'm in a cranky mood it's because my notebook hard drive died today & I lost a couple of days worth of productivity.

Stargate SG-1 has been cancelled :( ... or has it?

I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the Kate (LOST) action figure.

Hi everybody... I know I've been pretty slack in my postings... I'm actually really busy with some school/research stuff and the summer wedding season. I'm up in Whistler this weekend... yesterday I hiked the brand new High Note Trail: My calf muscles and I are fighting right now, and they've decided that they don't like me any more and want to start 'seeing other people'... whatever THAT means.
