John's Work Guide and Responsibilities

These notes are to describe the basic work that I do, the responsibilities that I have here at the University, guides to my work, and a list of the various individuals that I work with.

List of Responsibilities

The basic list of things that I am responsible for are as follows:

• MC Lab checks - going through the MC Mac and Nettop labs and making sure they're operational
• Printers - checking various printers in DC
• Workstation/Laptop imaging - imaging of Workstations and Laptops, as well as creation and updating of the images
• Hardware Repairs - repairing workstations through card swapping, power supplies, memory, hard drive swaps etc.
• Warranty Repair Administration(new) - administration and delivery of equipment to be warranty repaired
• Moves and Removals - moving office equipment to and from offices, and removing old or unused equipment
• Special Tasks - 2nd set of hands for others, assistance with miscellaneous tasks
• CSCF Help Desk Assistance - equipment loaning, tech support, Kiosk administration
• HR Submissions - process for submitting hours to HR
