Apache Certificate Authority File

Apache Certificate Authority File

SSLCACertificateFile
The Apache Certificate Authority File /software/sslCerts-1/config/certs/cacert.pem is a keyring which can contain lots of useful certificates for the Apache web server.

The usual location of this file under xhier is /software/sslCerts-1/config/certs/cacert.pem but its actual location can be set by the SSLCACertificateFile variable.

And further, observations suggest that Apache will save certificates it finds anywhere for possible later use.

A certificate of frequent interest is the OrganizationSSL Intermediate Certificate.
