Say you installed FreeBSD before you installed Windows... then Windows blew away your FreeBSD bootloader (of course). Now what?

You can:

  1. boot your original install disk
  2. go to the partition editor
  3. (S) set the first partition bootable
  4. (W) write the changes
  5. (Q) quit - tell it you're sure you want to do that
  6. tell it to install the bootloader into the MBR
and Robert should be your father's brother.
