Nabeel Ahmed's wireless testbed project (June 2007)
The project consists of deploying many (40 or so) custom-built wireless APs, driving them with lots of traffic (A-band; already cleared with IST) and seeing what happens.
Here is a list of the planned AP locations:

Hi Trevor,
I have decided on a tentative deployment in DC's second
and third floors (I won't be deploying anything on the first floor). I
have attached a listing of the rooms where I'd like to install APs,
along with the number Ethernet jacks I'd like in each room. For most all
of them, I essentially require one jack, but I've requested 2 jacks in
our lab, in case I need to do some small scale experiments. Please have
a look and let me know if jacks are available in the selected rooms. I
have also attempted to select rooms where there are folks that I know,
so that I can get into those rooms 'more easily. So, in this sense, I
think the deployment I have is quite optimal :)
We can talk in more detail about this tommorow.
