If you are unsure which form of support you should use or if you have any other questions that aren't answered here, please contact the Manager of the Research Support Group, Lawrence Folland (x32214).
Machines that are supported but are resident off-campus (ie: at home), need to be brought into the university in order to get service. CSCF policy will not require support staff to service machines at the homes of researchers.
In the event that replacement parts or third-party service is required to complete a request, the requestor will need to provide an account to which those charges may be applied. The approximate cost of those charges will be provided before proceeding with the service.
The intention of this service is to provide an average number of hours of support per term based on the number of units of dedicated support for which you are subscribed. The actual number of hours being used will be reviewed periodically to determine if you are over or under subscribed. You will be contacted by a member of CSCF if any adjustment is required.
