Windows SUS Server

A SUS server (Software Update Services) provides a local repository for Windows updates and patches.

Background

IST Provides a server from which we can configure Windows PCs to download the latest updates. As of April 2006, the SUS server will be wsus.uwaterloo.ca. Previously, there were two separate SUS servers: sus.uwaterloo.ca and vanguard.uwaterloo.ca. The new SUS server, wsus, will handle both types of services, based on which group
