Standard image software licencing

If the system is rolled out as a standard grad-student PC then no fees are payable. However, if the system is rolled out under other circumstances (eg faculty purchased system with research grants, faculty- or student-owned system) then fees are payable on the following (priced current a/a 2004-12-1):

• MS Office: $90
• XWin32: $20

All other software is covered, assuming that the system is for research only. If not, other fees may be payable (notably the Win XP OS).

An IST "Site Licence Software" form must be filled out and submitted.
