This page is a starting point for tracing and fixing problems with OdysseyApplications, notably assignment submission (cf. OdysseyLocalAppAssignmentSubmission).

Under /software/odyssey-2/connect/ live named pipes associated with Odyssey processes. The file names are of the form userid.=.pid.resp. Running 'cat /dev/null > userid.=.pid.resp' often causes apparently hung processes to terminate themselves cleanly (incidentally removing the userid.=.pid.resp file).

Log files related to Odyssey processes live under /software/odyssey-2/logs/YYYY/MM/DD (see ST 64914).
