Network
IMAP connections
- NOTE Turn off global INDEXING before you do anything else!!!!!
- Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> General -> Advanced Configuration -> uncheck "Enable Global Search and Indexer"
Speeding up IMAP
- Open Preferences -> Advanced -> General Tab -> Config Editor
- In the Filter section type max_cached_connections
- enter 1 for all entries that are highlighted
- In the Filter section type max_cached_connections
- Turn off automatic offline SYNC for the new account profile BEFORE migrating email - each profile has it's own settings
- Turn off global indexer BEFORE migrating email - best leave it off forever
