Other Time Off Work

The university has procedures and guidelines for staff time away from work for reasons other than scheduled vacation. This is a collection of links to the official documentation covering these absences.

• University Holidays - paid holidays for all faculty and staff
• Sick Leave - illness of short duration
• Long Term Disability - long term illness and disability
• Pregnancy and Parental Leaves - time off work for new parents
• Leaves of Absence - paid, self-funded, and unpaid leaves of absence
• Emergency Leave - occasional, sudden events which require absence from work
• Reduced Work Load - temporary and ongoing (to retirement) reduction in working hours
• Jury Duty
• Bereavement - death in the family
• Appointments - medical and other personal appointments
