Past Tasks

• Daniel: conv with Marlon about NULLs and bibtex_id

Today:

• test user: l29wu: has all contribution types
• Beth: web and merit reports should care about contribution "accepted" date; other reports don't. Vu will work on contrib logic.
• discussion of delegation and privileges. changing delegation to be more secure. Vu will code/test.

• [repeat] Marlon has been working on IAP imports; his contact, Sam Schmidt in IAP has gotten him a data-feed sample. It can be a campus-wide extract. including: leave info, rank, and admit (to UW). Sample data is in import db, three tables with _pre suffix. Beth will look at business rules.
• marlon asked about web presentation for website-entry fields; CS interests, teaching, service. Daniel has to code. Also: has to code "show on web" for awards.

• Daniel q for beth: brought up whether common tables degree_code should include 'BS','BA' for non-canadian degrees. Marlon says the common table values were chosen by IAP standard codes. Marlon will add 'BS' with 'Bachelor of Science (BS)' - 'BA' already exists.

• Noki is working on selenium and web inject testing.
• Lei's calendar-picker to go into production.

Upcoming Tasks:

• Daniel: research-book work, demos
  • tell profs: changes will be erased.
  • look up email to the list: bibtex-using prof, wants to test.
  • "2234 manuscript pages" - where does that come from? End-page isn't supposed to be a range, is it?
  • logic for page-ranges: holes around "" or 0 for source, n for end
  • Awards: "Show on Web" for everyone; Daniel will need poking at how that select will work.
  • website entry: show edit fields for interests, teaching, service: D.
