Past CS tasks

• Daniel: ready for profs at end of June. Yay.

Today:

• Beth: affiliation info simplification? Vu will make a demo.
• Beth: John Thompson in campus office of Research interested in current and historic awards records and wants to put it in OFIS
  • Marlon: maybe fake the employee ID of retired profs?
• Beth: Tamer Ozsu says he has spreadsheet of all CS awards.
  • Daniel will follow up with him.
• Beth: clean way to get data for Engr Dean's office? such as office #; Some possibly supplied by IAP? Spreadsheets on OFIS share to explain for Beth.
• Beth: can we show the faculty on profile?
  • Vu: involves the further dev of permissions / what about cross-appointed faculties... we don't get their primary faculty from HR?...
  • Marlon: resolved production schema for profiles
    • Daniel: will copy over profile code from dev
• Beth: Adul says Faradun is keen on cross-campus work, OFIS probably is fit
• Daniel: reminded Vu about contribution '0000' dates causing errors
  • question about contribution '0000' dates causing errors - Vu will look at validation code (and removing 0000 on display).
• Marlon: grad supervision errors: fixing data feed from GSO source; question about supervising data including gaps. Will clarify display to say "includes gaps"
• Beth: data for office of research updates?... Jack has menu changes in dev, Beth will look over.

Upcoming Tasks:

• Daniel: copy over profile code; ask Tamer about Awards data
• Daniel: report about Teaching
