OFIS Notes from 9 February, 2011

Today

Vu: big project coming down the pipe for him: grad student data administration project. He doesn't have full spec, hard due-date of September.

Marlon: HR/WatIam updates; sql updates are now in mercurial on ofis server

Michael: data-dictionary: syntax in postgres, or mysql? yes. both. found additional unused tables; discussed with Marlon and Beth.

• Vu will look up stats for report-generation.

Olga is away 1 week, through Feb. 28th.

Marlon: mocking up Person table to replace Faculty_member? in next few weeks.

Daniel: project-management evangelism for 15 minutes. Marlon and Vu are reminded they have had a PM course at one point. Redmine may be the tool to make this work?... will add marlon's project tasks into redmine for next week. Michael and Vu will try logging into redmine.

Vu: wants to work on path problem. Currently path is defined in lots of places? Marlon: are you sure? supposed to be only in config.php in main directory.
