Past CS tasks

• Daniel: fixing user info: replace "Department of" with blank; in display and in CV. Will move to Production.

Today:

• Vu: UTF8 works.
  • spreadsheet contribution upload works, in dev.
  • multiple contribution bug: defining menu didn't work out properly. Vu/Jack will debug.
• Jack: work on Research Support interface
• reporting to Beth about OfisRefBaseNotes31May2010. lots of human intervention, looks like.
  • could OFIS be campus-wide repository?... could lib get data, and we read in refbase format?
  • but library gets: ISI, community of science, Scopus.
  • continue discussion after we have schema
  • Do contributions have DOI numbers a prof will know?...
  • what does library data look like for a given prof? Can we do a test on half a dozen profs, look at raw data input, see what refbase produces for them.
• Marlon: Office of Research: imported 1999-2000; errors with 217 rchers, whose co-supervisors, whose main supervisors weren't available. Will keep looking.
  • working on course critique data format problems this week.
  • made Vu's dropdown work on front page, with J/S turned off.
  • Marlon vacation next wed. for a week.

Upcoming Tasks:

• Daniel will move user info change to production
• Daniel will fix CS Research Book code for order of display
• Meet w/Colin & Alan in a few weeks
