Machine Room Mapping Tool suggestion box

Here we can collect notes on features that we would like to see fixed, changed or added. Please provide some notes on the feature and include your name at the end to develop a list of requesters.

Features to change

This section is for features that are currently working, but you feel they need to be improved or changed in the way they work

1. Allow rack numbers to be reversed -- Done! (2005/06/28)
2. When choosing "Remove" - give a confirmation button - a whole room can be deleted with a single accidentaly button click! -- Done! (2005/08/03)
3. It might be nice to have the left-hand menu in one contiguous cell, so that it doesn't spread out down the page. -- Done! (2005/07/05)
4. The entire tool should be made available under a standardized location. I tried moving it here:
   • http://www.cs.uwaterloo.ca/cscf/maps/login.php but it generates an error. Isaac says that there is a problem running such scripts, except in user space.
