Using older AT&T +Berkeley with groff-1.18.1 on Linux systems
Note verify site or software license for using these macros first!
Steps
- Copy the vendor /usr/share/lib/tmac files from a solaris machine to your target host under /usr/share/lib/tmac
- Copy /software/groff-1.18.1/lib/groff/site-tmac to /usr/local/site-tmac.old
You can set alternate groff macro directories with the -M option or set
environment var
GROFF_TMAC_PATH
A list of directories in which to search for macro files in ad-
dition to the default directories. See troff(1) and
groff_tmac(5) for more details.
I ran tests using the -M option as follows
groff -M /usr/local/site-tmac.old ...
