    • for later: comparing the configurations of unchanged settings against "best practices" (which might be stock debian package, or stock mysql, or something different).
• Daniel:
  • 103625 - migrate data to HA mysql.cs: ensure production apps are working
  • 103620 - assist with HA mysql.cs maintenance documentation
    • twiki pages should start with 'Mysql' - and we should separate pages for ease of finding in emergency (mysql failover).
    • for later: we should be having yearly firedrills? for this and many other systems. We recognize that we don't have staff-time to do this regularly. (perhaps upgrade process is the firedrill)
    • would have been nice to know how to check marmoset-applications to search for 'database.cs'.
  • 103621 - HA mysql.student.cs (phase two) documented plans / wrapup

  • 103822 - test failover of master/slave/slave asynch HA mysql.cs
    • We should still do this, because process and docs have updated. Lori will try doing this after lectures are over- is that Tuesday?

    • needs testing; needs knowing who receives the alerts- set them to alert-list which includes drallen,fhgunn,ldpaniak,helpdesk,lfolland,dlgawley.
      • perhaps we need a mysql task-group (specifically not all databases).
