Current services

mail.cs - mbox mail service

problems to solve

• Current mail.cs is very slow, especially for users with large mailboxes, but also affects all other users
• legacy mail software needs to be considered: mail, pine, elm, emacs, mutt
• how will any new service work with other mail clients: Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Outlook
