Review and accept previous meeting minutes.
Review last meeting's Action Items
- Homedirectory quotas (a2brenna) - RTs: 1112506, 1288354,1298614 et al
- 100 GB quotas in staged roll out, plan detailed in tickets above
- Quota information from sponsorships could change rapidly
- If sponsored quota is <= 100GB suggested base quota, should we just use the 100GB base quota? (Clayton to run some numbers after Anthony makes a ticket?)
- Students in big data course get extra data (Fraser believes that it's <100GB)
- If someone has sponsored quota that is less than our suggested base quota, do they get both?
- Clayton suggests adding up all sponsored quotes and giving them either that, or the minimum 100GB quota (whichever is bigger). * Mostly waiting on odyssey database migration
- Clayton still on vacation, will be picked up when he returns (July 12th)
- Snapshots are still disabled, when are they to be re-enabled? (a2brenna)
- Snapshots appear to be enabled in the GENERAL environment, but not in TEACHING. I am now fielding complaints from students. (a2brenna)
- Were disabled at Nick's request, will be re-enabled.
- Snapshots still disabled as of June 28, Nick currently away.
- Anthony to resurrect ticket
- No change as of July 12th
- Sunsetting *-202.cloud.cs.uwaterloo.ca (18.04 Infrastructure Cloud hosts) (a2brenna)

- Sunsetting Ubuntu 18.04

New Business
- Mail access to Office 365 via mutt
- We have some faculty members who still prefer mutt for their mail client
- Is there any way for them to connect to Office 365 using mutt with multifactor authentication?
- Some use mutt to send out mail to large lists of users (users signed up for a contest.etc)
- Some mail recipients may be using off-campus emails
Comments
concerning mail access to Office365 via mutt and MFA:
I followed the instructions on these pages to assist a NFP with their mutt problem:
