xhiering ubuntu / ubuntu6-amd64

• setting up the first new ubuntu arch master (64-bit) was difficult; fair number of xhier compile problems to work through.
• setting up the next new ubuntu arch master (32-bit) was easy.
• agreed: putting ubuntu6-amd64 on a vmware host makes a lot of sense.
