Connecting to wireless networks on Linux

Ubuntu on laptops are unable to directly connect to eduroam (especially on the images CSCF images).

A way to get the laptop to connect to eduroam is through the "eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool" that can be downloaded from

Choose the Linux version of the tool and download it. (It will be a .sh file)

After installing the .sh file, the tool will prompt to enter the credentials (make sure to enter the userID as "")
