Lecture and reading

Attend the lecture to learn about this week’s topics and obtain extra information from this week’s reading list (short articles/videos to read/watch):

• Ubiquitous Computing and the Emerging Digital Eco-System by Bill Buxton
• Computer Supported Cooperative Work from The Encyclopedia of Human-Computer Interaction

Finish ethics training

Each student must individually complete the TCP2 Core ethics tutorial. The tutorial takes 2-3 hours to complete. More details are available on the Information page under Deliverable 1a.

Check your design document

Each team must maintain a document of their design process of the project by updating the document weekly. An online document will be created and shared with all your team members, as well as TAs and the instructor. You will expect the design document shared to you in early next week, or as soon as you form a team. Check your email inbox! More details are available on the Information page under Deliverable 2a.

Think about your project

It is never too early to think about what you want to do for your project. After forming a team, you can get together to brainstorm about interesting challenges or problems to solve throughout the term. Check the Project page for requirements.
