unlate — Remove any indication a given submission was submitted late

Synopsis

unlate {assignment} {student}

Usage

Intended to be run from a course account with submit enabled. The assignment specified must match one of the assignments configured for submit. The student is specified by UW userid. If the student's UW userid is longer than 8 characters, only the first 8 characters should be specified here.

Description

Removes all record that the specified student has used up a permitted late on the specified assignment. This is used in special situations where it is deemed appropriate to give a student an extra late for whatever reason. The command does not affect the actual submission or any other student; it merely affects the record of which assignments were submitted late.
