Committee Members: Ashraf Aboulnaga, Peter van Beek (ex officio Undergraduate Admissions), Shai Ben-David, Dan Brown (ex officio Director of First Year), Sandy Graham, Mark Giesbrecht (Chair), Tian Kou, Ed Lank, Kate Larson, Naomi Nishimura (ex officio Director of Undergraduate Studies), Tamer Özsu (ex officio Director of School), Troy Vasiga.

  1. Update on recruitment survey.

  2. Phoning prospective students.

    3. We have sent early admissions to about 200 students, and will shortly send more. These students currently receive about three separate mailings of materials, plus they are contacted in the Math Phone-a-Thon (by CS faculty members) in May. We would like to consider whether an earlier phone call (specifically for CS) is warranted and effective, and how we might implement this.

  3. High school access to CS 135.

  4. Review of Stage 3 Brochure (reminder)

    Tian is seeking input on updates for the 2007/2008 year by the end of this week.
