First undergraduates enroll in the Waterloo College's Associate Faculties, which later become UW.

1958

Construction of first buildings begins on the Schweitzer farm.

1959

UW is incorporated by the Province of Ontario.
Wes Graham joins the Department of Mathematics.
First computer programming course is offered.
