Reflecting on the personas that you developed in D2, identify a target group of individuals (outside of CS 449) to interview for your project. In PO1a, you will conduct informational interviews with these participants. Schedule the first 1-2 interviews for the week between the Week 4 and Week 5 studios.
Conduct mock ("pilot") interviews with the two 449 / 649 classmates (outside your team) that you recruited as part of P3: Write up what you learned: Which questions seemed confusing to your interviewees? Which questions were best at drawing out the most interesting information? What questions did you realize that you were missing? What recommendations did your interviewees give you on how your interview questions and procedures can be improved? Anonymize notes (i.e., DO NOT write down the interviewees' names in the design notebook. Instead use participant IDs, e.g., P1, P2, etc). In addition, based on these lessons learned, document your new / refined set of interview questions in the design notebook.
