The grading scheme for the course is as follows.

CS486 (undergraduate students):

• Programming Assignments (4): 10% (2.5% each)
• Chat Assignments with Chrysalis (10): 10% (1% each)
• Midterm test: 30%
• Final exam: 50%

CS686 (graduate students):

• Programming Assignments (4): 10% (2.5% each)
• Chat Assignments with Chrysalis (10): 10% (1% each)
• Midterm test: 20%
• Final exam: 35%
• Project: 25%
