There are 4 assignments in total. For CS 486, the assignments are worth 30% (each is worth 7.5%). For CS 686, the assignments are worth 25% (each is worth 6.25%). All the assignments are due at 6 pm on LEARN. No late assignments will be accepted or graded.

For each assignment, submit two files with the following naming conventions.
- writeup.pdf
- Make sure you include your name, email address and student ID in the writeup file.
- The Latex file for each assignment will be posted. Feel free to modify the file directly.
- If you handwrite your solutions, make sure your handwriting is legible and take good quality pictures. You may get a mark of 0 if we cannot read your handwriting.
- code.zip
- Include your program, a script to run your program, and a README.txt file with instructions to run the script. You may get a mark of 0 if we cannot run your program.
Two or three TAs will be responsible for each assignment, including answering questions on Piazza, grading the assignment, holding office hours before the assignment is due, and handling remark requests. Solutions will be posted on Learn after the assignment is due.
