Our guides, Patrick Mwangi Ndogono and Henry Gathura, were exceptional: informative, chatty, funny, patient, and flexible. They would exchange warm greetings and farewells with keepers and camp staff, and hang out with them. They also took meals with us in the camps, and had their own breaks during our down periods.
