Kotlin in Action, 2nd edition has been released! This is written by people that work on the Kotlin team at JetBrains, making it a pretty authoritative source.

Kotlin: An Illustrated Guide is the published version of the Dave Leeds on Kotlin website. It’s an excellent resource for learning Kotlin. Dave does a great job of explaining complex topics.

A Philosophy of Software Design was written by Jon Ousterhout, based on a design course that he teaches at Stanford University. Interesting take on the importance of reducing complexity in software design.

Fiction

Everything’s Eventual, a short-story collection by Stephen King. I’ve been reading his books since I was a teenager, and I especially love his short stories.

Miracleman: The Original Epic by Alan Moore and many others. This is a re-release of the original series, which was published in the 1980s. I’ve been a fan of Moore’s work since reading Watchmen.
