The Broadcom BCM95820 CryptoNetX SSL Accelerator adapter is a high-performance PCI-based single-chip adapter for use in virtually any PCI-based system. It is used to accelerate the public-key operations involved in Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) server transactions.


Using Multiple Adapters

You can install multiple Broadcom CryptoNetX SSL Accelerator adapters in your system to balance the traffic among the adapters (load balancing) and to ensure continued hardware acceleration if an adapter is removed via Hot Plug, fails (failover), or is disabled.
