The Broadcom BCM95820 CryptoNetX SSL Accelerator adapter is a high-performance
PCI-based single-chip adapter for use in virtually any PCI-based system. It
is used to accelerate the public-key operations involved in Secure Sockets Layer
(SSL) server transactions.
Using Multiple Adapters
You can install multiple Broadcom CryptoNetX SSL Accelerator adapters in your
system to balance the traffic among the adapters (load balancing) and to ensure
continued hardware acceleration if an adapter is removed via Hot Plug, fails
(failover), or is disabled.
