(July 8, 2024) Notes from the Graph Product Structure Theorem are now available.
(July 6, 2024) An updated version of the lecture notes is now available.
(June 25, 2024) The deadline for the project submission is extended to Sunday, July 7, AoE (anywhere on earth).
(June 20, 2024) A Dropbox for your project submissions is now available on LEARN.
If this doesn't work for you, then you can also email me the PDF of the lecture notes, as well as a link to where I can see/download the video.
(Do not email me the video; it may well crash my email inbox.)
(June 17, 2024) I have listed possible times for you final; please email me with your 2-3 top choices.
You should also really be picking your project topic. (Note that the project is not optional.)
(June 10, 2024) Part 3 of the lecture notes is now available (yet again in two files). This is the end of lecture notes.
(June 9, 2024) A3 has been posted, with the deadline moved to June 26.
(June 3, 2024) The deadline for Assignment 2 is extended to June 17, 2024. (The deadline for Assignment 3 will almost surely also get moved to later, but I will see where we are in class closer to the time before fixing its new due date.)
(May 27, 2024) Please start thinking about your project choice. In particular, please contact me this week if you are contemplating doing a presentation project.
(May 24, 2024) Correction to Assignment 2: In Q3, I had meant to ask about a maximal outerplanar graph. (But I will accept an answer for outerplanar graphs as well.)
(May 22, 2024) Part 2 of the lecture notes is now available (in two files since the
watermarking did not want to work correctly when I put it all into one).
(May 21, 2024) If you'd like to get credit for A1 questions, then please make an appointment with me in the next few days.
Also, Assignment 2 is now available.
(May 10, 2024) A1 has been posted (a few days ago already), and as of today's lecture you should be able to solve some of the questions. Very roughly there will be one question per lecture (but not always in exactly the same order).
(April 2024)
This web page is the main place for information about cs762; we will
not be using LEARN (except as a place to submit projects).
The contents of this web-site are as of now quite incomplete and not
always accurate. Contact the instructor if you need to be sure of
something.
(April 2024) Lecture notes will be made available in PDF
(but not all parts are available yet).
