---+ Twiki Newbie Guide Newbie to Wikis or Twikis? Never fear. This thing is pretty easy to use; it's designed such that your time is spent writing text, not marking it up. If you want to just read things here, you don't have to do anything at all but find your way to the page you need somehow. The search bar that's present on most pages is sufficient for this. If you do want to edit things here, best you create an account, you can do that at TWiki.TWikiRegistration. Hopefully everything there is self-explanatory. *Note:* authentication is via uwdir. Authenticating is necessary but not entirely sufficient to perform page edits. One may edit pages without creating an account, but it is, generally speaking, best to create a Wiki account too, so your name will show up pretty-like instead of just as your uwdir ID. If you'd like an introduction to Twiki's and how to use it, see TWiki.ATasteOfTWiki For a list of other guides to using Twiki, see the [[TWiki.WebHome#TWiki_User_s_Guide][Twiki User's Guide]] -- Main.MikePatterson - 01 Oct 2004, 14 February 2005
