Abstract:
Let T2 be the set of sums of two
positive triangular numbers. If a multiplicative function f satisfies f(a+b) = f(a) + f(b) for all a,b ∈ T2, then f is the identity function provided that f(n) ≠ 0 for some n ≠ 1,3,5.
